The King’s Arms
Choose from three inviting private spaces: the elegant Casterbridge Room, the atmospheric Old Smoking Room, or the snug Private Dining Room. Each is ideal for everything from small meetings to milestone celebrations, all with superb food and attentive service.
At the Chapel
Downstairs, The Club Room is perfect for gatherings of 40–80 indoors or up to 120 with the adjoining terrace. Upstairs, a galleried space overlooking the restaurant offers a unique spot for private dining. Browse our brochure for more information.
The Grosvenor Arms
If you are planning a larger gathering, The Assembly Room is a splendid space. Its grand windows have vistas out to Shaftesbury’s picturesque centre and it is very adaptable.
It can seat up to 80 people theatre-style. Options such as a boardroom table seating up to a maximum of 32 people or round tables for seating up to 52 can be arranged.
Timbrell’s Yard
Just off the main restaurant, the Clubroom is a flexible private space with its own entrance and riverside outdoor area – great for both business events and private parties. Expect the same welcoming feel and fantastic food Timbrell’s is known for.
