Stay Original is not a typical hospitality company. We specialise in buying and transforming neglected historic hotels and pubs in the South West and turning them into laid back ‘oases of pleasure’, run by some of the best staff in the business.
We’re independent, ambitious and big fans of fresh thinking!
We started with our first coaching inn in 2011 and have grown to six award-winning properties this year and will double in size again over the next five years.

Stay Original began life in 2011 when it breathed new life into a semi- derelict coaching inn, The Swan in Wedmore, Somerset. Now, in 2018 the company is a leading boutique hotel and pub brand. We are obsessed with excellence in all aspects of our business.
Our properties are unique but share a common vision.
They succeed by becoming the very heart of their local community and exude character, charm and a welcoming atmosphere. Central to our success is the team that we are building in our expanding business.
